Welcome to Stasher. With this post, I want to introduce you to the funniest game powered by Monero, a privacy coin you can earn and spend to create insightful posts and thoughtful comments. I discovered Monero a long time ago, forgot about it, and this game gave me an opportunity to dust off my wallet and start playing again. So thank you, @stasher!

It has not been easy, so I want to share some steps for newbies to join the game, because it's fun, entertaining and allows us all to learn things from other people we'll probably never meet IRL. So don't be shy, open your mind, warm up your keyboard, and start typing.

One thing to know before you click START: this is not a solo game. The leaderboard is real, but it's a scoreboard, not the trophy. The actual prize is the lobby. A multiplayer simulation of what happens when a town has no bank, no landlord, and no timezone. So don't come here to be the best top-of-the-top stasher. Come here to be on the team that makes everyone better.

It is not mandatory, but if you know what you are dealing with, you'll be better informed to keep it safe. The best you can do is to learn the rules before joining the table. Make yourself comfortable, and watch other stashers playing ping pong and constructing insightful conversations. Jump in whenever you feel ready and share your naked thoughts openly. Stashers were new too, and every one of them was shaped by somebody patiently answering their first silly question. Pay that forward.

Create your accountCreate your account

You can either use your email (even better, an email alias) or create one with a seed (not your wallet seed). Remember to save it safely as your account backup somewhere the void cannot reach. Once done, you will be guided to connect your wallet and create your bio. Two critical steps to introduce yourself to the community. This is where the multiplayer begins: your bio is your name tag on the table. Someone will click with you and tip you some coins, because tipping is how this town says thank you. Make your bio shine, it's the first thing your teammates see.

Find your guildFind your guild

The turfs are your game zones. Each one has a themed topic: ~crypto, ~jobs, ~tech, ~Privacy, ~Library, a ~XMRAgora marketplace, and even a funny ~memes one, run by a founder who's basically the zone's guild leader. Don't just lurk the whole map; pick the turf where you want to belong, because that's where your reputation compounds and where you'll build the relationships that make the game worth playing. Nothing will stop you from belonging in multiple turfs. The bounties are side quests you can actually create anywhere: a player posts "I'll award this to the best..." and the whole lobby competes for the quest reward. Posting a bounty in ~bounties is giving the whole community a reason to think together.

Let's playLet's play

Every action in Stasher costs a few coins, think of it as ammo. Posting, commenting, and even downvoting spend a little Monero directly from your wallet. That's the anti-cheat: the barrier is tiny, but it keeps the feed honest, because nobody wants to pay to talk into an empty room. Your bullets run out fast if you spray and pray, so you learn to aim. You'll also have some freebie shots every month, so make good use of them.

But think of the ammo as community funds, not personal XP. Every tip you give another stasher is an investment in them. A "keep writing, this was worth my coins" message that counts toward making them write better next time. Upvotes are the deserved round of applause, a like, a gift of appreciation. Downvotes make the room anonymously go quiet. The game is played by tuning each other up, not down.

Keep Your Flame ONKeep Your Flame ON

Every week you'll be in a quest to keep your flame on, and here's a secret: streaks aren't a solo achievement. When you show up every day, you're keeping the log fire burning for everyone else on your turf, stashers see a familiar name, the newbies see a bench they can sit on. Simply follow the steps of the Daily Ops suggested in your profile page, and the game will become easier and easier, for you, and for the people who learn from your example.

Additional free replies and posts are earned weekly for engaging in basic actions such as upvoting content, posting or commenting, boosting, etc. For most users who use the platform normally, they will never have to think about this or go out of their way to earn the free replies and posts. Just using the platform as you do normally, tipping and posting, earns the average user the same or more free replies and posts every week/month than under the previous system.

The real prizeThe real prize

Here's the part that surprises most new stashers: the way you earn is by giving. When someone tips your post or comment, when other stashers upvote it, you stack points. Those points are real private money. The site rounds up the fees and tips and hands a slice back to stashers who made the feed worth reading, all with full transparency.

And look closely at who gets the weekly rewards distribution: not the loudest typers, but the curators, the ones who tipped and boosted the best content. The bounty table hands its biggest chests to the people who pointed out what was good. The economy is literally rigged to reward generosity.

Deliver value, not volume. There are no algos here to game. It's about typing what lands and tipping what other people landed when it clicks with you. The game turns in your favour the moment you stop playing for yourself and start playing for the feed.

That's it. The loop is simple: share something real, tip what deserves it, help a stranger who's lost, and let the weekly rewards surprise you with a deposit you weren't fully expecting from the turf you helped build.

Now turn on your flame, pick your turf, and introduce yourself to somebody. The game only exists because there are people in the lobby, and the lobby is sturdier every time one more of us steps in.

So again, don't be shy, open your mind, warm up your keyboard, and start typing. I'll be in the lobby.

I'm noticing just now so many errors now, so I'll probably rewrite this guide at some stage. Leave your comments below so we can onboard new stashers easily :)
