Daily Ops have proven to be a great secondary incentive and way to help newcomers get started using and learning Stasher News. We wanted to flesh-out the idea a bit more and reward long streaks.
Boost credits from the flame streak milestones are now worth 0.00025 XMR worth of ranking power (was 0.0005) each and the max held cap is now 4 (was 1). 4 boost credits (max) = 1mXMR.
Evolving Flame Shield:
Every four weeks (weeks 4, 8, 12... ect. up to week 52), the day 7 reward is a flame shield +1UP. Holding the powered-up flame shield allows you to miss 2 days and still keep the streak going.
Every four weeks the flame evolves with different colors or animations. The highest flame badge unlocked is shown on your profile permanently (unless you turn off badges in /settings), even if you later lose the streak. Any stasher who is past the week 4 flame streak has earned the week 4 flame retroactively.
We will not be spoiling what the later flames look like.
Stasher News no longer advertises the pool rewards balance. The transparency page still contains the platform rewards view key, so you can verify that only what should be coming in or out is coming in or out, but we don't purposely advertise the reserve balance anymore. We felt this posed a security threat in the current cybersecurity landscape.
Fixed: the downtip button was not functional when displayed in certain feeds like new/all or in notification feeds.

I agree that showing the entire pool balance is probably not a very safe thing to be doing, just showing what this week is going to payout is a lot better IMO.
