Inspired by @menace https://monero.fail/ updates. Nearby nodes / geo filters made putting one on the map make sense.

I’ve run a node at home for myself for a while. Public is the next step. It’s downloading now not listed yet. When it is, it’ll live on monero.fail.

If you’re mining at home, a node is the boring half of the job. Gupax can hide that at first. A public one is just “I already had this box, might as well help the next person find a peer.”

I’ll drop a comment here when it’s actually on the map. Questions about standing one up are welcome.
