I think my last major buys were Dec 2024. That’s when the daily boxes got their DDR5 upgrades and I sorted storage for media. I actually went on a heavy xmas binge that year. After that it was spare-parts and used AM4. Picked up a used 3950X this year. That’s was a life long itch to have that CPU in my fleet.
The “you won’t see 2024 prices again” line is the one that landed. I’m not buying into this spike. The house still runs on what I already had.
If I’d waited a year I’d be staring at the same chart you are.
