I have not read Stealth of Nations (yet!), just put it on my list. IMO the 15 years still reads like a grace period more than a victory: states initially ignoring System D was neglect; currently measuring it is a prelude and now talking about integrating it is the capture attempt: once it has a line in a spreadsheet it can have a tax ID, a KYC gate, a “consumer protection” raid. Institutions did not fall in love with débrouillardise: they noticed a pile that was not filing. BTW, want to post the book in ~Library, or shall I (after I read it)?
