So to clarify, the content moderators are users, essentially. Worst case scenario, users don't like your content, they downvote it, and it gets deranked/not shown on the frontpage. So I suppose it would be a better idea to perhaps host the article itself somewhere else, and then share the article on Stasher if you wish to do so.
But as far as can you post the content you described here? absolutely.

I'd say don’t worry about "a lot of freedom-loving people find that stuff distasteful": a lot of people who call themselves freedom-loving are themselves pretty distasteful: they suck up to the worst tyrants and the ugliest authoritarians on the planet, play the simplest "enemy of my enemy is my friend" game, and forget FreeSpeechTM the second it stops serving their team (example).
ESR writes about this as well: most of the major monotheistic religions expanded by blood, torture, and terror if you actually look at the history. That’s uncomfortable if you claim to care about freedom, but it suddenly becomes fine when it’s "our side". If you write in that vein, you've already got at least one reader here - I love reading ESR and the haters zoo in his comms xD

Thanks @AilliA! I enjoyed your twitter when you had it. I'm generally lurk only on socials using nitter/redlib/newpipe so I never engaged previously. I definitely agree that most pro-freedom people fold when actually challenged to allow discussion in taboo areas. Those people often also support state-backed redistribution in one form or another. I'm not abrahamic or progressive so that can make navigating some pro-freedom water more difficult in terms of cultural fit. Generally I've found the monero guys to be cool though. Honestly, my concern wasn't around offending people (I could generally care less), moreso abstaining from certain topics out of respect for the content curation of the site. Controversy draws in a lot of garbage tier edgelords that barely understand the arguments they back, they just coalesce around them because they perceive it will confer onto them a benefit of some sort. I'll test the waters and get more controversial over time. For a fun starting point: I don't think Jesus ever existed. I am still digging into it to provide a comprehensive case, but I've found it pretty compelling so far.
Not sure what the content moderation, etc. will be like here. Can't find any listed on the faq either. Was going to post some stuff that's pretty controversial and I wouldn't want to taint the feel of the site before it takes off and stunt its growth. Antiabrahamic, antigov, vitalist, secular social conservative writings. I don't want that to clash with the site's desired content and scare people off. A lot of freedom loving people find that stuff to be distasteful. I could likely do some of my writing here, but I would definitely have to pick and choose more than I would like to for a home base which is what I'm looking for here.
