I've ran Linux Mint all version at some point on Laptops and PCs it's still the easiest Windows crossover.

I use Ubuntu for my Home Infrastructure PC right now. I'm not on it really now it's pretty much run by my Hermes Agent.

I'm using Omarchy because now with the AI Harness it sits right with the OS instead of being bolted on after and fighting the OS.

Omarchy is its own beast though beautiful layout and concept but there is a learning curve to it.

I'd say for ease of use Mint is just that...easy.

Thanks for this! My only hesitation is it's interlinking with AI systems. I inherently do not trust any AI company and specially don't want to give it access architecture around the OS itself 😬

Hermes Agent by Nous Research is an agent harness and you can put your local LLM in it like I do.

You can also not install anything. It isn't a prerequisite .
