Mint is a work bench, no messing, no fuss. it works.
Cachy, Pop, Garuda or neon have more flavour. If you are starting on Arch maybe Manjaro.
Imo more important is the desktop environment: KDE, XFCE, Gnome, Hyprland etc. this is what makes a big difference. Once you find the DE that rocks the OS might not matter.
