Footnote i often wear like a btc rollercoaster shirt and bitcoiners rush up go talk about segwit or a bip and i have no clue what they are talking about because i dont care about btc. I do have a monero shirt, but in the spirit of monero i only wear it under my pyjamas. If anyone in the community can make a cool xmr shirt like this id buy it

Having hodled BTC for a few years at this point and having never done an onchain transaction other than buying it I began to spend my monero whenever I could.
I tried to convince my grocer, barber, mechanic etc to accept a bonus payment if they accepted XMR with some success. Over time more of my bills are paid in monero and through various business arrangements I may or may not receive payment fiat alternatives.
When I do not receive payment, I do not pay tax on the disbursements that I never received and this cash poverty is helping me to align my finances with my personal political views.
I've always been a big believer that you vote with your wallet and if you don't like the way someone or something is, it is unjust and immoral for you to pay them to continue.
Monero at the core is a very civil disobedience and an important tool for our freedom.
I support it even if it fails, in my opinion, it was worth it.
