Writing. I always wanted to do it in one form or another so I'm going to start writing and posting them here.

I have a bounty out for ideas here: #339774

There's always a point to learning new things. Even if you don't use it, it gives your brain a workout. Not to mention a large part of learning is association and analogy so learning one thing can help you understand a completely not connected thing. Don't be like those people that stop learning after school ends.

Also, make sure college/university is right for you. If you're US based that's a lot of time and money spent and if you're not it's still a big time investment which has an opportunity cost. Make sure what you need to do actually requires it and if possible see if you can try the job field you're looking to work in before making long term commitments and time investments in it. Also, make sure it's worth the money if you're US based. A lot of job fields that require a degree don't pay enough to warrant taking the time and spending the money to do it. Debt is a weaker form of slavery (I know some debt is profitable or optimal depending on the opportunity, but that's honestly rare. Better to go without if you can).
