We all talk about privacy, how about we embrace it a bit more here in stasher?
I still see and be invited to watch videos on YT, which, with privacy, has not much to do. Asking here if stashers would be open to consider converting all the embedded videos to streams from something else instead, like from any INVIDIOUS instance?

Same for xxx links, would it be possible to have them all pointing to a nitter instance intsead?

Great suggestions. We'll get to this 100%.
FYI, we already render our own X post previews in-house on Stasher, kind of like nitter, so we avoid X trackers entirely when displaying tweets. But we still link to the x . com link when clicking on it, but that can easily be replaced. Same for yourtube links.
Yes, I noticed that, and it is great. Honestly, I love how the twiiit cards display. The less branding shown, the better. If you notice in my proposal I replaced the logo too :)

I must agree, whenever possible, we need to use links that do not support these services directly or at all when possible.
If, for example, a video is on PeerTube and YouTube, then the PeerTube video is the one that should be linked
