i'm also here for this. we ride to the end brother.

Question is: How do we spread the word about how awesome stasher is so that we have 7.5 users tomorrow?

reply

Well fwiw I’ve already pointed aillia.link and my XmrBazaar profile at Stasher.news. Planning a Substack post with the useful bits too. Substack is tight on length, and TBH not everyone wants a long list, so the trade-publication / consulting-style posts will sit behind MoneroWall, linked from my Substack free newsletters (~ 4.8k subs there right now). Might give people who actually want it a reason to come read, instead of asking in DMs. DMs do not scale anyway, and rn I physically cannot reply to everyone. Cannot promise 7.5 by tomorrow :) but soon™.

I shill on X here and there. We've had three posts about Stasher on reddit in the past 2 months. My last Stasher tweet (yesterday) got some good traction, but that doesn't translate anywhere close to 1:1 when it comes to gaining active users, or even lurkers for that matter.

The key to success at stasher will be consistency. Judging from my own psychology as an anecdote, I usually hear about (insert new thing) anywhere from 5-10 times before I even decide to go check it out and see what its all about. Network effects are not easy to overcome, but gaining mindshare just takes time.

Monero is already relatively niche, and 99.9% of people interested in Monero have never heard of Stasher yet. Still very early days.

actually think the monero community is very small. much smaller than you'd guess. yes some people have bought monero on a CEX and leave it there, but those investors are not active. of active daily users many may prefer not to discuss their monero or identify with monero or post monero...of the subset of monero users willing to pay to post now we are talking the great, but the few.
