In my view, the encryption technology used for cryptocurrency is far superior to that protecting bank accounts, brokerage accounts, social media profiles, and online stores. If cryptocurrency systems were to be compromised, breaching those other platforms would be child's play by comparison. Just as artificial intelligence evolves, encryption technology does not stand still; while current methods may eventually be cracked, more advanced ones will inevitably emerge. From the Spartan scytale and the Caesar cipher to the Enigma machine and Morse code, humanity has constantly created new cryptographic techniques—only for them to be broken, leading to the development of even more sophisticated methods. This is a perpetual cycle that will never change, so there is no need for excessive worry.

I think bunker mode happened when an 11 day old AI solved 722 math problems humans hadnt solved for centuries and the issue is the speed of fundamental change. I agree about cryptography being harder systems but it is unregulated and those who own the models are also those who own the banks. To my way of thinking these systems will be deployed to kill the competition.

I believe that no matter how advanced current encryption technologies may be, they will all eventually be cracked and rendered obsolete. This is not merely a possibility; it is an inevitability. New, even more advanced encryption technologies will subsequently emerge. This is a necessary condition for human progress; there will never be an encryption technology that remains unbreakable forever. All encryption technologies will eventually be compromised by superior successors, and outdated technologies will inevitably be phased out. Without this cycle, humanity would make no progress at all. Therefore, I see no need for panic—nor would panic serve any purpose.
