I was wonder how many people here was once a Bitcoin maxi? Just me or are there others?

I used to be a proper Bitcoin maxi. Thought it was basically the endgame at the time. hard money, fixed supply, all that. What started getting to me was how slow and expensive it got once more people were actually using it. I kept telling myself Lightning was gonna sort it out. On paper it sounded great, instant and cheap on top of Bitcoin. In practice though it was a pain. Running channels just got tedious fast constantly watching liquidity, rebalancing, dealing with payments that fail for no obvious reason. It stopped feeling like “just send some money” and more like babysitting a little side project. And that was before I even properly thought about privacy. Once I did, it was pretty obvious Bitcoin and Lightning still leak a lot unless you’re really careful about it.That’s when I started looking at Monero more seriously. The more I used it the more it just made sense. It actually feels like peer-to-peer cash. No channels to manage, no extra hoops just to send someone money without broadcasting everything. Privacy’s just there by default instead of something you have to opt into. Over time I just slowly drifted away from the Bitcoin maxi thing and ended up as a Monero maxi instead lol
