Filippo Valsorda (Go cryptography maintainer and age author) just updated the Cryptographic Right Answers for the post-quantum era.
Basically: stop inventing your own protocols, hug the hybrids before the harvest-now-decrypt-later crowd cashes in, and that symmetric crypto is still mostly fine.
A clean, no-nonsense checklist for people who want their data to stay theirs past 2029.

Fun morning coffee read and really worth reading even if your OPSEC currently consists of "hope nobody looks too hard" :)

Everyone should read it. Filippo says the post-quantum migration needs to finish by 2029, and calls non-PQ solutions an active, urgent liability because of harvest-now-decrypt-later. Symmetric crypto is mostly fine. The asymmetric answers all changed.

Agree with that comment, I like how he writes too :) I think it partly replies to #340534. I started writing my own reply to that one, then it got too long for a comment so I figured it’d make a better newsletter/article… then life distracted me (as always lol). I’ll probably write up the parts that aren’t already covered/discussed...
