Perks of running your own node. There is no wait everything is up to spec all the time.
what about when you use mobile or you dont?
The more you use your wallet, the less it has to synchronize. So, doing things like tipping on Stasher News, or Noster, or whatever, makes your wallet synchronize quite quickly because there's not a whole lot of blocks it needs to get.
Also, if your wallet offers it, take a look at your adjusted restore height and move your restore height to that point in your password manager or wherever you store your seed every so often.
Just as an example, my restore height for my wallet was like 3,732,000 and I was able to move it up to 3,772,000. So there's like 40,000 blocks that the next time I restore my wallet, I no longer have to synchronize.
i use my hot wallets every day, but i make time for bad sandwiches.
My wallets never usually take longer than a minute to sync. When I do need to brush off the cobwebs and dust from an old cold storage wallet, I usually just meditate. I tap into the void, become one with nothingness. It makes the sync speed faster, kind of like RGBs make my computer faster.
that's plenty of time for 3 sandwhich poops in my house.
