This was already addressed earlier this week. Any posts from before the fix won't show a preview, but new posts should work correctly. as such:

@stashernews, @DontTraceMeBruh stasher.news/items/340552 it'd be cool if for threads, or posts like these, users could have a button somewhere, to make it be an image. Right now we can craft link, discussion, bounty, poll, job; what about attachment, image, video, a la Reddit?
I have absolutely no clue what you are talking about... I will assume you will not implement the feature. Thanks.
I suppose I have no clue what you're talking about. You can clarify, or yes, assume it will not be implemented.
you mention a button to make it into an image. what is "it"?
you can already attach images and videos, and previews are rendered for all media. you want a screenshot button?
Thanks.
Since you are far smarter than me, please tell me where, after you hit Post, including clicking on More types, you can "attach images and videos" on stasher.news, like you can on Reddit, visually and functionally speaking?
Extra: Reddit UI. I hit Post and it looks... like this! SImple, straightforward.
There is no Attach button, no media thumbnail, nothing. UI issue? Back-end issue? Cognitive issue? Perhaps you have never used Reddit, making it difficult to visualize at first glance. =]

you can also paste images into the text field, which is what I did to attach the two images above.
hope that helps.
Talking to you was always like talking to a wall. Cognitive and skill issue. Enjoy the downvotes. Have a great day, "Untraceable" pussy.
This is the right reply right here!

I have absolutely no clue what your historical interactions with him have been, but it seems like you escalated to hostility pretty quickly. It also seems you've been a little prone to hostility to the team in general. You may not like him, but it doesn't really pull other community members to your side or encourage a productive response from the team if you always escalate to an extreme. You began the discussion in a hostile way, he responded in a slightly hostile way. I haven't seen him respond in a hostile way in other places unless someone else did first. For what it's worth, I had no idea what you were talking about at first too since the attach function works and is present.
We really do need this on Stasher.
