pull down to refresh

One place i worked,  during the lunch break, i ate this hoagie with off white cheese, greyish meat and it was all wet for no apparent reason. After downing it in a mountain dew to kill off the odd taste in my mouth I returned to my desk. Very quickly I was almost rendered unconscious by abrupt pain in my downstairs operations. I charged down the hall to the executive bathroom. I wasn't an executive, but this was an emergency. I’d clenched my butt the whole way after all.

Within the 3 walls of that elegant restroom I suffered a near death bout of explosive diarrhea. 41 minutes later, unsteady on my legs I groped my way back to my feet. As I wiped down my legs and mopped the sweat and sewerage from my brow I took a marker from my pocket and out of courtesy for the next user I wrote "caution bad sandwiches" across the toilet seat, which I'd broken.

Not even an hour later we were called to a surprise staff meeting. Expecting another restructure I was shocked to hear the Director of the company announce that they had launched an investigation into " the bad sandwiches incident “. From the back of the room I yelled "LAWYER!!" and somehow 3 days later I found myself fired without a shred of evidence presented against me. Outrageous given this was a law firm. Anyway the lesson here: it does not pay to be a good samaritan. Do not do corporate kindnesses ever.
