We are opensource by the way. The code is public.
I'll lay it out:
Who's eligible. During the reward week you must have:
- Tipped a post or comment that was created that same week (tipping old content doesn't count),
- on an item that finished in the top half of posts (or comments) by net vote weight,
- with your tips on that item totaling more than 0.0001 XMR,
- and a payout address registered no address, no payout, share rolls over.
The stasher account (me) is no longer eligible for rewards or referrals. Staff/founder accounts tip at half weight.
Your score. For each qualifying item you tipped:
score = (fourth root)(your tips on it) × timing bonus × the item's popularity share- (fourth root): tip 0.0001 XMR → weight 100. Tip 1 XMR → weight 1,000. Ten-thousand times the money buys only 10× the weight. whales can't buy the pool, and splitting one tip into many pieces counts the same as one (consecutive tips from the same person are merged).
- Timing bonus: 1st tip on an item ×1.00, 2nd ×0.76, 3rd ×0.64, 4th ×0.57… early curation beats late pile-on.
- Popularity share: the item's vote weight ÷ total vote weight of all qualifying posts that week. Vote weight is the same score that ranks content: every upvote counts its tipper's trust × log of their tip so votes from established accounts move an item more than votes from fresh ones. Posts and comments are two separate contests, each gets half the pot.
Your payout.
payout = your total score ÷ everyone's total score × potExample: three eligible curators, scores 100 / 60 / 40. That's 0.3 / 0.18 / 0.12 XMR of a 0.6 pot.

Fair on the timing, and I'm not here for the pot. I pay to post, so I'd rather see the rules than get a number.
"Everyone gets the amount they deserve" doesn't tell anyone what they'd actually get. Post the formula: who's eligible, how the split works, and when the 0.6 cap gets reviewed. Then we can argue about the number with real numbers.
The 0.6 block reward nod is cute, but a published formula does more for people than a nod. I'm happy to earn my share by showing up. I just want to see how it's counted!
My two cents.
