Nobody thinks twice when you close a door for a private conversation. It is not suspicious. It is normal. It is human. Money works the same way. Wanting to choose who sees your spending is not about hiding something. It is about keeping something that was never anyone else's business. That is the entire case for Monero, and you do not need a whitepaper to understand it.

This is a really interesting metaphor. And it reminds me of the time i was the nations best soldier in the army and i used to tell the the troops: Better metaphors win meme wars.
The best soldier like Bill Murray in Stripes?

Great metaphor. The 'nothing to hide' people all have curtains, locked phones, and bathroom doors. They understand privacy perfectly, they just think you should have to earn yours.
Not sure about that. I always say, 'Privacy, like freedom, is a journey, not a destination'.
