I have not seen the movie, but it seems to be not very good hahahaha. Honestly, the book is good (great even), but the writing is a little stilted at times because the philosophical basis was so influenced by Konkin (I remember hearing that he actually was consulted on this book, but I'm having difficulty substantiating that). There are a couple times where the descriptions of the intricacy and detail of the systems are a bit gratuitous. I understand why though. Agorism is so much of a deviation from the status quo that those explainers are needed.
Still less overbearing detail than a Stephen King novel. We get it Steve-O the lampshade is really fascinating.
If you want to read Stephen King without shooting yourself in the face, I recommend his short stories. You may also want to "acquire" them because he's a massive hyper-progressive piece of shit. And the writing of a "scene" with a "group activity" with multiple children (11 years old) is deranged. If I had my way he would be heavily investigated and then "admonished" if sufficient evidence was found of the accusation.
Also, unrelated, but I don't want another tx.
@Aillia have you seen Cyberpunk Edgerunners? Legit one of the best agorist-adjacent works out there if you read in-between the lines from an ancap view.
i found there is also a movie. have you watched it @OldNorseAnarchist? is it as good as the book? sometimes movies are fine. sometimes they kill it.
