The Monero economy has grown a lot over time, but what do you still wish you could buy with your Monero that you can't yet? I'm curious to see what other people have to say.

i wish I could pay rent/bills with xmr, also groceries

reply

rent. or just a place with roommates that takes monero and does not want a credit check and your parents as cosigners. everything else is already possible if you already have the coin. the housing is the biggest one.

but also gas, electricity, food, vehicles, clothes, you know the usual.

The real question is mostly: what do you wish you could buy without ID?
Rn I really wish I could buy high-speed internet access with Monero: the ISP is what can put you on the chopping board if (or in this world, when) your Tor/VPN and other setups stop working... If we can break this link between our meatsuit and the internet, maybe this state of security wouldn’t be so terrifying rn...

if you have money you should be able to exchange it for whatever you want. that is the whole point. why is this even a question. gold and silver did not need any permission. you had the coin you got the thing. if the money needs an id to spend, the money is fake.

Soap, 13 gallon trash bags.

An ISP or ISP proxy (somebody pays the ISP and you pay them) would be great since if you had enough KH/s you could mine your internet bill. Same for electric, what if your electric company took Monero directly.

Raw milk - I find it hard convincing farmers about alternative means of payment :(
