Let me know if you want me to tweak anything I included in the turf description.
Regarding the paying portion: That's kind of the whole concept of the site. Every other social media is free or ultra-low barrier to entry, but the incentives established overwhelmingly benefit the site operator and maliciously harvest off the users and creators. The idea here is to have a higher barrier to entry, but a better incentive structure. It's moving away from the "free" ad based/data harvesting model to the paid model, but with even better incentives and design. Most other sites are bot infested, state manipulated, dead internet theory hellholes. Here, it is still early, but I feel like the community has already developed an immune system against bots and those bots only came about as a result of how potentially killer the incentives are.
If I didn't overspend on a couple of frivolous turf creations (one of which seems to already be dying out and I decided to pay the forever price for it), I would have already been around even or profitable on here and that's including my high volume of activity.
Good idea.
I just established a turf for this: https://stasher.news/~Monero_Knowledge_Base//r/OldNorseAnarchist
