I really like this one. The worst-case framing is the right call, "Eve can get any record she asks for" kills the endless arguments about whether the exchange might not log, and it keeps the whole thing durable. And the summary table is the part people will actually screenshot. Most beginner guides skip the swap service record linking the BTC withdrawal address to the XMR address, that's the real kill chain link and you stated it plainly.

One gap though: the Deadly zone section is diagnosis without prescription. You land on "remote node operator sees Alice's IP" and stop there. A beginner closes that tab scared but with no move to make. Even one paragraph fixes it: run your own node, or connect through Tor. Running a node is honestly not the big deal most people assume, a cheap box on the home network handles it fine, and once it's local that whole IP trail section collapses. Dandelion++ could get a sentence too since you're already talking timing correlation.

Also I'd go Friday. Monday works but a consistent schedule matters more than the day itself. Keep up the great work, this series is shaping up really well!

Glad you liked it, and thanks a lot for the feedback too!

Adding a “what to do” section at the end of the Deadly zone was on my mind after I finished the post, but I was busy working on the other posts, left it for last, and forgot :D Unfortunately I can’t edit the post right now. I can only add a 200-character addendum at the end, which would make the post feel patchy. So I’ll cover this, along with Dandelion++, in more detail in a later post on the topic.

If nobody objects to Friday, I’ll lock the schedule in for Fridays.

Thanks again for your interest.
