Whats new on stasher:
Dynamic RewardsDynamic Rewards
each week the system calculates a budget from real activity: average curator tip volume and platform income, and targets to pay curators up to 1.5x the amount tipped that week. Its not a guaranteed 1.5x what a user tipped that week, its a target. The amount an eligible user receives still depends on other factors such as trust, timing bonuses, etc. This week's math currently works out to ~0.25 XMR for Monday's rewards distribution. You can see the current weekly reward calculation in the rewards page.

The rest of the changes:The rest of the changes:
- A new default turf, worldnews
- Top bar cleanup: the reward-pool countdown was removed from the top bar. it still lives in the footer and on the rewards page.
- Weekly digest email fix: the same reply or mention no longer shows up multiple times in the email. issue #24
- The FAQ, rewards, and transparency pages now explain the budget system and show the current numbers.

Looks good bud. I like it!
Keep up the good work. Learning and growing day by day!
I love the dynamic rewards bit.
I honestly don't even consider the weekly reward pool when making comments or upvoting things. I just do things I like, regardless of what will come back to me with the distribution
See, I'm a rather boring person who doesn't have many original thoughts of their own, so I don't post very often. But I enjoy commenting on things that I find interesting
I'm the exact same way on Lemmy. I skew very heavily towards comments, and very little towards posting.
I very much also prefer new rather than lit or top.
Personally, I want no algorithm sorting shit for me. I just want to see, in chronological order, what's newest to what's oldest, and then I can look at what's new since I last got on and then leave. So I wish I could make that to the default for my account
Apparently I'm not doing very much to help the site grow either, because my referrals section politely informs me that I have zero confirmed referrals.
I started looking into allowing the default feed to be set to New, but then got sidetracked. I'll add it back to the to-do list.
