💪 What server did you play on and what class?
too many servers, both eu and us (Arena Tournament included), been doing a bit of powerleveling and eloboosting back then so played a bit of everything on people's accounts but was mostly main druid, lock and war
barely played sham tho so been wanting to explore that and probably gonna be what i'll roll first in few hours :3
oddly enough, didnt play hunt at all, it seemed really strong during the beta tho, and there's the new legacy point system thing so probably will level all to 60 anyways, spectral bear mount thing looks cool O_O

well tbf... nowadays its all made by AI, like... they made patches that broke everything that the previous patches fixed, that was an AI patchfest lol, will see how it goes when it goes live but am not expecting it to get any better on that lol
still, it's been so long i didnt play it at this point so should probably still be a new enjoyable experience regardless, for a bit at least :3
Nice! I don't think you can go wrong with Lock, Warrior or Rogue those always seemed to be consistantly strong across expansions (prob because the devs played those classes lol)
I'm the opposite, never multi-classed just narrowed in on hunter 😆 Jungle Cleave was my favourite arena comp though, here is a video original ↗ my druid arena partner and I made back in the day.
I would love to see AI voices do all the NPC quest text - I've seen an add-on for that, tbh bliz could just pay people to do it too they are not strapped for cash.
I did return briefly for TBC classic and it felt like I was trying to relive "the good old days" but it just felt like a cheap knock off of the original experiences I had. I had also played so much competitive wow private servers that the idea of levelling or doing up my professions did not seem like a great time/reward investment just to do some end game pvp.
I'm at a different stage of life now, wife, kids, work - I'm developing a game about ciphers too so that keeps me busy 😅

sadly i dont remember playing feral/hunt, closest would have been feral/rogue and boomkin/rogue but on arena/bg druid i been mostly heal and boomkin than feral
then with wotlk there were some abominations like TSG (war/dk/pal), played it a bit on warrior but with it highest rating i got was with arpen prot warrior / sham elem / hunt but i guess at the end of the day it's world of RMP pretty much x)
is WoW Forever gonna follow the tradition and be RMP Forever? i mean, it's what dominated years after years after years...
well idk, dont think arena is on the roadmap for now
seems like they making it more casual, even the R14 they reworked the system to make it very casual so could even rank up multiple chars simultaneously easily
i mean i guess am not complaining if can play it casually, pretty much same life stage as you (doggos instead of kids tho lol) and even tho bae is chill, doggos are chill, doing the gaming still takes some precious time away regardless.. and also been exploring trying to make proof of concepts for game things so finding the right balance can be tough sometimes
and same as you on the leveling and professions, it's a chore, i hate it so much lol
and it's like... everyone hates it so it creates a market for those services
so who knows, maybe in few months you'll be like:
"hey, playing a lvl 60 hunt right now could be fun.. i just dont wanna level one tho, it's such a chore.. unfortunate"
and then i'll poke you and be like "hey u want me to level you a lvl 60 hunt so you can play casually while already being lvl 60 for some piconeros?"
and then that's P2P circular economy :3
well lowkey tho i dont wanna do it lol, and would take time to theorycraft and optimize the leveling routes and so on
but am guessing there must be lots of demands already for services like that at launch (seeing how much gold selling happened on the beta, it's an active market)
and yea ill keep updated if any progress or what but for now will just try to have fun and having an actual good time playing the game rather than it just being work
like, would be a nice change for once being able to actually enjoy gaming, will see if it can be done lol
interesting the idea of AI voices for the quests btw, since they have literally thousands of quests at this point
still, would feel so cheap coming from a company like blizzard that literally had the whole legit orchestral things for the musics and everything
i feel like that would be a cool feature for the RP players tho yea, like for the immersion thing or somethin :P
else questing is pretty much just autoaccept quests and follow the arrow and idk nothing about the lore LOL
anyways, ill be around, will keep an eye on what u making too with the boardgames and whatnot, looks interesting there as well O_O
and quick idea which i guess now is a bit too late for that would have been:
1 - 60 race between monero people with a prize thing or somethin
well technically not too late but like, without prep no nothing
i still gotta do groceries, pick up a package thing... didnt sleep yet so will probably fall asleep as soon as servers goes live, then it gonna be long queue times, server crashes, like, the usual blizzard launch probably
but idk, it's technically not too late too late and the race could be all realms combined too, so i guess if anyone like that idea, we could try to setup a last minute type thing for it
else ill just do a chill start no rush just trying to enjoy the game or somethin :P
