We deployed an update to Stasher this morning.
Changelog:
- Tips now show up in your notification bell — when someone tips you with Monero, you'll get notified.
- Video posts are marked in the feed — posts with an uploaded video now show a small video icon next to the title, so you can spot them at a glance.
- Upload fees display correctly — the fee shown on the reply button was 1,000× too high (it read 0.002 XMR as 2 XMR). The amount charged was always correct; only the label was wrong.
- Clearer video upload errors — if your browser can't handle a video file, you now get a real explanation instead of "undefined".
- FAQ updated — removed an outdated entry.
Other bug fixes and improvements
- Security hardening across the platform (payment verification, account protections, and upload limits).
- Background cleanup of orphaned files and improved reliability of the payment watcher.
- Search indexing fix so all posts stay findable.
- Dependency updates.
- Various internal fixes and code quality improvements.

Planning to release another hotfix in the next 24 hours to give users more free comments to decrease friction.
Currently new users get 5 free comments per month, and established users get 15 comments per month. Now new users will get 2 free comments per day, established get 5 free per day.
What exactly denotes an established user from a new user? Maybe that's in the FAQ, but because of the accessibility issues, I can't read it.
An established user is older than 7 days and has stashed (been tipped) 0.01XMR or more (about 10 tips or so)
and about the accessibility, I'm working on some improvements this morning after studiying the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. After some internal testing if everything goes well the changes should be live this coming week sometime. Thanks for your patience.
