This is probably not worth the effort. You should take into account the swap fiat/Monero or Gold/fiat then the taxes you’ll pay on the profits if any.
Sincerely the hassle doesn’t worth it. If you buy Monero use it as a currency to buy something with it, just don’t swap it back for fiat.
