Testosterone levels in men have been declining for decades. That's not my opinion, that's the meta-analyses. Sperm counts on the same slope. Something in the environment is moving the baseline and nobody in charge is asking why loudly enough.
The science points at endocrine disruptors. Phthalates, BPA, PFAS, the stuff in plastics and personal care products. That's the literature, still being written, but the direction is consistent. I'll defend that part.
Here's where I stop reporting and start thinking.
When a man's testosterone drops far enough, you don't just get a less driven guy. You get someone who has lost the engine. Less push, less edge, less of the thing that made him want to build something, protect something, take a risk. I think that's showing up culturally, not just in a blood panel. Men without a clear role don't become neutral. They become lost and lost men are easy to steer. In effect they are neutered
Now the part that makes me angry.
Second-wave feminism pushed women out of the home and into the workforce. I'm not saying that was all bad. A lot of women wanted it and I respect that. But the structural effect was this: the family went from one income plus a home economy to two incomes plus nobody home, and the cost of housing absorbed the second income almost exactly. The only entity that clearly won was the tax base. Two earners, two taxpayers, and the cost of living scaled to match. That's not a conspiracy; That is a spreadsheet!
I think men and women are built different and I think that's not a flaw to be engineered away. Men protect and women procreate. You can use softer words if you want, but the roles aren't arbitrary, and when you flatten them into "everyone's a taxpayer," you lose something that was load-bearing.
Where do you think the decline starts? Environment, diet, stress, or something else?
If sure what we eat is a big part of it too, all these animals being injected with chemicals is ending up inside us. They’re also in high stress environments that also changes their hormones. There’s a study done recently that shows 20% of our male cows (steers? Bulls?) are TRANS… lower testosterone They are actually lactating…. Scary.
Yep. It literally becomes you are what you eat.
That's the shitty part unless you have access to free range and local you still have to eat something bad.
But hey...when you gotta pick your posions you start somewhere and then just keep learning!
If you reject second wave feminism, but not first wave, you're just making a middling unimpactful critique. The reason I reject abrahamaism, universalism, and progressivism is that those things logically produce gay race communism as a coherent logical progression. Your points on testosterone and the environmental factors are well taken. I would also say that because of the nature of democracy, weak men compound as their decisions create weak male decisions that create more weak men.
All that being said: I think much of this is actually a rejection from a genetic/ancestral memory temperament perspective from women to a certain degree. Women did have two advisory roles in Norse societies: Seeress and priestess. Women could also testify in court and declare divorce at any time without church (or higher legal) consent. Women in many ways had substantially more rights compared to the later more restrictive rights of women in Christian society. Women didn't have "voting power" in þing, but their opinions were valued if they proved valuable and their consent was considered often and their autonomy was preserved to a certain extent. I think different societies treated women differently and those different systems arguably were best fit to those societies. This is especially relevant when you consider the differences in intellectual capacity for the intersectionality of race plus sex. If different intellectual capacities are considered it would make more sense for Norse women as opposed to Arabic women.
Additionally, women were both forcibly prohibited from and forcibly introduced into the workforce by the state. Most women fill garbage state based jobs and companies are forced to hire women when they otherwise wouldn't. In my experience 80% of women are incompetent in their roles compared to men. That doesn't mean the 20% should be excluded by law, it just means that the 80% is there only because of government force. The overwhelming majority of women should be at home raising families. That's not even considering how putting women's interests against men and factoring in a state looting component makes women and men natural enemies instead of allies.
