hey, you are right to point it out. My GPU doesn’t help the Monero network, however what I meant was that the hashrate that I produced mining CR29 is converted and added to my hashrate from my Monero wallet. This feature is importsnt for very low hashrate like my server.
the point is that if homelabs would use their combined ressources, they could get decent payouts. I am a believer than once someone receive XMR, they will value it.
I have tried P2Pool initially but I had so little hashrate that I needed to use nano pool and wasn’t finding shares and even less blocks. For me the combined hashrate with my GPU is what makes me compromise and lean towards MoneroOcean.

GM all, My proof of concept is now working on #monero mainnet. Generate a monero hotwallet and use it to “tip” workout programs. No more friction of scanning QR codes. You simply press the tip button, select the tip amount, review and send. I will probably remove or collapse all the info about fees…

that’s the thing, I don’t think we build something on Nostr but more With Nostr.
I built a workout fitness app called Workstr (https://workstr.fit). It leverage Nostr for sync between devices and to save your preferences, workout history, etc. it is a web app, everything is on relays or device cache.
I agree that clients have work to do. I got really annoyed at some point so I am building my own stack. The problem is that clients decides which NIP to integrate and sometimes they are deprecated.
However, everything is open source so it is easy to build your own or to understand what is broken.

Similar situation, I first was introduced to Bitcoin, then I went to altcoins, now I am more focused on Monero.
I am eager to learn and build around it. It is however easier to build with Lightning network than Monero but I believe monero makes more sense overall.
