The miner is the same on all three. RandomX, xmrig, P2Pool. Gupax is still the easy door: one GUI, bundled P2Pool + xmrig, primary address (the 4 one), start P2Pool then xmrig. Don't begin in a terminal. What changes is how the operating system gets in the way. Windows Antivirus will quarantine…
Gupax gets you hashing. The next fork is whose node you're talking to.
Simple mode will crawl a remote node so you can start. That's fine. It's also someone else's box, so it can drop, and it's worse for privacy.
If you've got the disk, unhide the Node tab in Gupax (it's off by default) and let it sync. Pruned is enough. If you already run a node in the house, point Gupax at that instead of spinning a second one.
P2Pool wants your primary address, the one that starts with 4. Subaddresses don't work there.
You're on P2Pool. That's the path Gupax bundled. Centralized pools can wait.

Ask if P2Pool keeps hopping remotes or the node looks stuck.
Hey man again....appreciate the work and effort you put into this.
I think this is a super clever idea to put your money where your mouth is.
The monero community is a solid one. It's got a whole world of different characters old and new.
This is the start of something great that will only add to the community.
I'm not a social media darling at all or a tech wizard. I'm just a OG hobbyist miner that has always loved what Monero stands for.
It's values are my values.
Monero = Freedom
Thanks Boss!
I have 4 on 24/7. The 3950X, 5700X and 3600XT all run on hive OS full out to p2p Mini they do about 32 KH but the 3600Xt donates for xmrvsbeast.
The 5800X also mines 24/7 about 4-5 k but it just tops up the donation for xmrvsbeast but it handles all the background ops and is my Linux Rig as well.
The 7950X is my daily driver is can do 20 but it's flex so fires at night on its own for 8 hours. That one has Hermes and SSH into all the rigs in the house. Makes flight sheets adjustments throughout the seasons.
Then I have a 7600X Gaming rig that is pretty much 24/7 and a kids 3700X that also flex like my daily ops machine. All together there I can get another 33 ish.
Can through in the legion go and mac book if I want all from my ops rig as well.
We can hit about 70 if everything is rolling. But sit average 35-40 a day and then donate about 11.

Pinned!
I have a 3950x, 5800x, 5700x and 3600xt all as 24/7 miners and the 5800x handles linux ops and the monero/wownero/p2p stack.
Then I also have a 7950x, 7600x, 3700x and legion go that flex into the rotation as needed.
Hey. I founded this turf so home miners have a place to learn. Shop talk and teaching. I'm self-taught, mining since 2017-18, small CPU fleet and a node in the house. If you're just starting, don't begin in a terminal. Gupax is the easy door: one GUI, P2Pool + xmrig, you put your address in and go.…
Well I'm gonna make this short and sweet! Congratulations for getting this up and going my man. This is such an original and cool idea for monero. I'm really excited to use and see it grow!
Monero Miner and Node operator. Privacy-minded systems. Here for the conversation, not the karma.
